CECELIA

Out of the blue one day, we got a call to let us know we had a flight angel!!  A friend of a friend had to fly to Cali for work and had no problems bringing back a dog for us.  That is a true gift and we contacted Pug Nation to see if there was anyone they had in mind for us. A picture of Cecelia came through our email and we knew she was the perfect senior lady.  She arrived in Dec and fit in wonderfully with everyone, both human and k-9.   We don’t know if it’s the pressure or elevation change, but similar to Ruthie, her eye started to pressure up as well. During the week between Christmas and New Year’s, she had an appointment to have her eye removed.  While she was under, she was not doing well on the anesthetic.  They checked her other eye and deemed it would have to come out sooner or later and not wanting to put her under anaesthetic again, they took both.   There was such a huge difference in our new CeCe!  We wondered just how much pain she was in.  seeing her tail wag was heartwarming and unlike before we couldn’t get her to sit down.  It's obvious she adjusted very well to her new life and was a very happy lady. Almost exactly one year to the day that we brought her home, she was put outside with everyone for morning pees.  Five minutes later, the door opened, and everyone ran in…. Except for Cecilia, who had collapsed on the deck.  Kasey and Jayden raced her to the vet only to have her pass in Jayden‘s arms on the way.
